Each unique piece in the Blight collection, foraged from forest and field, has been carefully chosen for the remarkable features created during its deterioration. Guided by these features, the material and the form, Tamasine removes and adds with intention using hand crafts such as carving, hollowing, turning, burning and finishing. Addition of a foreign element or a light source is used to highlight particular forms or create tension and reaction.
